Business ownership is fascinating, but a lot of the conversation around it becomes serious very quickly.
Capital.
Debt.
Payroll.
Margins.
Risk.
All important things.
But before any of that, there is something incredibly fun about looking at a business and imagining:
What would I do with this?
BizzySim starts there.
It has the dopamine of browsing a marketplace and shopping without the financial consequences, while quietly exposing you to some of the things that make businesses interesting: cash flow, financing, employees, seasonality, marketing, expansion, operating decisions, and the economy around them.
You do not need an MBA.
You do not need a down payment.
You do not even need a particularly responsible plan.
A fake economy connected to the real one
We wanted the businesses inside BizzySim to feel alive rather than like static listings.
So every Biz has its own simulated history, economics, and personality.
And selected real-world conditions can influence what happens inside the fictional economy.
Weather may matter to a pool company.
Fuel prices may matter to a delivery fleet.
Holiday shopping may matter to a retailer.
Broader economic conditions may provide context for other businesses.
Real-world inputs are designed to nudge the story, not determine it.
BizzySim is not an economic forecasting model. It is not trying to tell you what would happen if you bought a real laundromat tomorrow.
It is trying to make your fake laundromat interesting enough that you check on it again tomorrow.
Entertainment first
You might accidentally learn something about business while you're here.
Great.
But BizzySim was not built to feel like homework.
There are no grades.
There is no final exam.
And your imaginary lender cannot repossess anything.
